by admin477351

Luxembourg is set to reduce fuel prices significantly starting at midnight on Wednesday, November 4, bringing financial relief to motorists and households. This move will see the cost of various fuels, including petrol, diesel, and heating fuel, drop notably, easing the burden on those who rely on them for transportation and heating.

The price of EuroSuper 95 petrol will decrease by 8.1 cents, setting the new price at €1.678 per litre. SuperPlus 98 petrol will also see a reduction, with its price falling by 6.4 cents to €1.835 per litre. Diesel, widely used across the region, will become 7.1 cents cheaper, costing €2.039 per litre. Additionally, the price of heating fuel will drop by 7.2 cents to €1.529 per litre, alleviating some of the financial pressure on households as the winter season approaches.

Other fuel prices will also witness a decrease. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be priced at €0.972 per litre, residential propane at €0.953 per litre, bottled propane at €2.459 per kg, and bottled butane at €2.262 per kg. These reductions come as a welcome change amid fluctuating energy prices that have impacted consumers worldwide.

The updated pricing structure aims to provide some economic relief to Luxembourg’s residents, particularly those who extensively use these fuels for daily commuting and household purposes. The move reflects a broader strategy to manage living costs and maintain affordability in essential commodities.
